Among the advanced systems driving Calumet Electronics’ HDI and HBDU capabilities is the KLA Diamond 10 LED soldermask imager, a key part of the company’s strategy to expand leading-edge PCB manufacturing for U.S. domestic supply.
The Diamond 10 handles soldermask processing entirely digitally, imaging at resolutions down to 25 microns and using digital scaling to improve yield. That translates to greater capacity for high-resolution soldermask work and the ability to manage increasingly complex board topographies with speed and precision.
“The imaging quality and high throughput on the Diamond 10 can handle even the most complex topographies. It’s fast, efficient, and incredibly accurate,” said Meredith LaBeau, Chief Technology Officer at Calumet Electronics.
Through its partnership with KLA, Calumet continues to invest in the technology that keeps advanced electronics manufacturing strong here in the United States.
