Since joining Calumet Electronics in 2021, Brian Fehringer has become a dependable and valued part of our 3rd shift Score team. In his role working in V-score, Brian is responsible for cutting full-size panels into individual parts or arrays, applying careful measurements and precision to ensure accuracy on every job. As he describes it, “It’s mostly just simple math and ratios,” but we know there’s a lot of skill behind making it look easy.
Brian brings a steady, detail-oriented approach to his work, consistently delivering quality and efficiency. His supervisor shares, “Brian’s consistent performance, reliability, and proactive attitude make him an indispensable part of our team. He not only meets expectations but often exceeds them. We’re very proud to have him as part of the CEC team!”
Reflecting on what keeps him motivated, Brian says, “I appreciate the scale of what we do here. It’s nice to know the work I’m doing is having a real-world effect.”
Brian’s roots run deep in the Copper Country. Born in Laurium, he now lives just a block from where his parents once lived. His father worked nearby in the building with the Alexander Agassiz statue when it belonged to a forestry company. Brian recently got engaged and is planning a wedding for next fall. He shares his home with a dog and two cats and enjoys reading fantasy novels and listening to music. While night shift makes it harder to commit to regular activities now, he previously volunteered coaching soccer and participating in Adopt-a-Highway programs. He also attended Michigan Tech for five years, changing majors partway through.
Thank you, Brian, for the steady focus, dedication, and care you bring to your work every day.
